On the morning of August 18th, ASEAN International School and School of Navigation Engineering conducted the first online international training for Navigation majors through the China-ASEAN technical education cooperation platform. Tan Jingyun and Qin Shuzhi, teachers from School of Navigation Engineering, attended the event, and 150 students from the Philippines and other ASEAN countries attended the training.
The online training demonstrated the strength of the School of Navigation Engineering from the aspects of school profile, major settings, faculty, research achievements, etc., and interpreted the enrollment policy at the current stage. The online training was a complete success. In addition to the knowledge sharing session, a free Q&A and exchange session was added. Participants in the training were keenly interested in the training content and actively interacted with teachers in our college, thus deepening their knowledge of navigation-related knowledge. After the training, the students said that they have been benefited a lot and consulted about matters related to studying abroad at our college.
This training is a crucial step for our college to carry out international course certification and promotion. During the 14th Five-year Plan period, ourcollege will also carry out a series of training for ASEAN countries.
